Canberra is a beautiful city, but one of my favourite times in the city is Winter. I just think the starkness of the empty branches against crystal clear skies, or the early morning sparkling frost, or the blur of scenery through fog are all gorgeous.
Today we woke up to snow on the Brindabella's (the mountain range behind Canberra) for the first time this year. These photos are actually from a couple of years ago, but they give you a good idea about how lovely it looks. It may be a cold, crisp day, but with views like this, who would live anywhere else?
