A Sunday Stroll

I live near a lake but all too often it is just a backdrop. Today I got out and about around it. It was a cool cloudy day but the sun would make nice appearances to warm things up. It was so peaceful sitting there watching the ducks and swans do their thing. The autumn leaves have disappeared but the bare branches against the sky were just as beautiful in their own stark way. Just the perfect winter arvo.
