ANZAC Day Traditions

ANZAC day. It is a day of many traditions. The dawn service, the parades, two up. Everyone has different ways that they mark this important day.

But for all the sombre reflection of the day there are also some fun ones. For my family one of the most important of these is eating a meat pie in front of the footy. We are Essendon supporters and the tradition of the ANZAC day match between Essendon and Collingwood has become part of our family tradition. Add a Sargent's pie to the equation (don't forget the extra half pie for the dog) and we are set!

Ok so the result wasn't victory for our team but it was a great match and it was a fantastic afternoon.
