My favourite things in cold weather

As I've mentioned on Sunday it got cold.  Normally we get eased into the cold weather, but it seems this year Mother Nature decided to flick the switch straight from Summer to Winter with very little in between.  Naturally as always happens, people are having a good old whinge about the weather, but I like to focus on the good side of the cold.

Here is a list of some of the things that you get to enjoy in cold weather that just aren't quite as good in summer:
  • Ugg Boots and slippers
  • Soup
  • Open fires
  • Jumpers / coats and other fleecy clothing items
  • Boots
  • Curry 
  • Hot desserts like self saucing pudding
  • Patterned or coloured stockings
  • Mulled wine
  • Thick feather doonas
  • Scarves
  • Snuggling

I could go on and on!  What are your favourite cold weather things?

    mmmmm Winter + self-saucing pudding. Is there anything better? :) I love curling up on the couch with hot tea and a book in winter. With a big snuggly jumper.
