Isn't it nice when you are able to use a skill to help out a friend? I may not be professional or anything but I can do hair reasonably well so when a good friend asked me to do her hair in a vintage style for a wedding she was attending I was more than happy to oblige.
She arrived bearing chocolate croissants (I'm sure that is the international currency of hairdressers) and I set about curling and pinning and lacquering her hair into place. It looked extremely cute if I do say so myself and I sent her off for a fantastic day.
And I felt great that I could help my friend.
